Meet The Basketful
Tami Watson
Born in Orono, Ontario, she was your typical Tom boy. Her family had a pick your own strawberry farm and also grew apples, raspberries, sweet corn, raised beef cattle and more. Her 2 favourite jobs were feeding the cattle with her dad and heading to the farmers markets. She attended Durham College and got her diploma in Business Administration with a major in Marketing.
Now, with 4 kids, who are all interested in farming, Tami has chosen to continue her passion with farming and marketing so she can give her kids all the wonderful experiences of the farm life that she had herself.
With over 150 acres to farm, growing fresh and tasty fruits and vegetables is what she strives to accomplish.
Will Watson
21 and always in the dirt. Nothing has changed since he could sit up as a baby. This guy can operate any equipment big and small. He learned how to drive before he could walk. Will hates anything to do with retail but will be the first to hop in a tractor and work all day…everyday. Will’s partner Kaitlyn has joined our farming family this year and their trusty watch dog Otis. Wills favourite crop to grow is apples and Will’s favourite crop to eat is tomatoes!

Grace Watson
16 years old with a grandmothers soul. Always knows what’s happening everywhere. She has a strong sense of marketing and never buckles under pressure. This smiling child of mine pays attention to all details, yet inspires to change all the time. She’s creative with a flexible mindset. Recently, she got her best friend, Arlo, the happiest guy! Arlo works alongside grace at our roadside locations, he is our professional produce taste tester! Her favourite crop to grow is apples and her favourite crop to eat peas. Grace will be heading to post secondary soon, and she will pursue business studies!
Alana Watson
14 years old and a sensitive soul. This dare devil tackles every challenge with grace (not her sister lol) and determination. She aspires to grow anything that can heal you. Flowers, herbs and any other soul southing remedies. Her favourite crop to grow is strawberries, and she says her favourite crop to eat is pickles, so let's say cucumbers. She may be small but she is mighty, always willing to help, and conquer anything life throws at her AND she does it with the brightest smile!
Kent Watson
Kent is 12 years old and aspires to work on the farm. He believes he’d like to grow fruits and vegetables on his own someday. He can’t wait to learn to drive the tractors, so for now is focusing on maintenance of equipment and lawn mowing! His favourite crop to grow is corn and his favourite crop to eat is corn.
